Job description

The role:
·         To manage all lifecycle works across three hospital sites - North Middlesex University Hospital, Barnet General Hospital and The Whittington Hospital.
·         To supervise all works as appropriate to ensure that works are completed to agreed programmes, timetables and to the required standards.
·         Manage the day to day activity of all specialist sub-contractors and directly employed mechanical, electrical and non trade maintenance staff in the delivery of the LCF
·         To produce the annual short term (STP), medium term (MTP) and long term (LTP) lifecycle plans on time and in line with the contract/site requirements
·         To manage the tender process for all lifecycle works following company procurement guidelines.
·         To prepare and agree quotes as directed by the General Managers.
·         To attend meetings with site management teams and client.
·         Working hours are 08.00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Profile

The person:
Must have experience in a similar role, with a relevant M&E and management qualification
Must have previous lifecycle and project management experience
·         Flexible, proactive, able to articulate and communicate effectively at all levels: previous client-facing experience is an advantage
·         Have strong time management skills to handle own workload and ad-hoc requests from clients or senior management.
·         Attention to detail, report writing skills and strong customer focus is essential.
·         Must have a driving license for travel between sites.
·         Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relative to facilities management and a working knowledge of HV/LV, medical gas and other hospital HTM requirements and obligations is an advantage.
