Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the UK finance team as a Senior Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our organization.
Job Purpose and Scope:
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and clarity of our financial position across various departments and projects. From calculating and documenting financial information to conducting in-depth analysis, you will be at the forefront of driving financial excellence within our organization.
 Key Responsibilities:
Produce comprehensive finance reports and meet tight deadlines.
Prepare monthly financial management reports with insightful analysis.
Assist in the development of quarterly and annual budget models.
Manage day-to-day financial tasks and reporting schedules efficiently.
Provide invaluable project management support, including budget maintenance and reporting.
Oversee the administration of timesheet software and recharges.
Collaborate closely with procurement and sub-contractor processes, offering guidance and support.
Conduct financial analysis and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Actively manage budgets, collect information from budget holders, and review variances.
Undertake specific studies and analyses aligned with our strategy.
Essential:
A degree in management accounting/finance, with CIMA/ACCA part-qualification.
Previous experience in management accounting is a must.
Proficiency in purchase ledger, VAT, and tax knowledge.
Strong IT skills, including experience with financial software like SAP or similar systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective working relationships.
